The ITPC AIDS Treatment Report is the first systematic assessment of treatment scale up based on the research of people living in communities in six countries where the epidemic has hit the hardestthe Dominican Republic, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Russia and South Africa. The report is based on their experiences and first-hand knowledge of the situation on the ground. Each country used a case study methodology, which emphasizes interviews with carefully selected key informants.

Evaluation Project 1"Evaluation Report: Mobilizing the media towards HIV/AIDS care and support in Nigeria"
This publication contain findings of an end-line evaluation of the outcome and impact of a media mobilization on HIV/AIDS project carried by JAAIDS in 2003-2004. Implemented under a grant provided by the National Action Committee on AIDS (NACA), the project aimed at securing large scale mobilization of the media in Nigeria in providing support to the national HIV/AIDS response and in positively influencing public attitude, behaviour and opinions towards HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support.

"HIV/AIDS Training Manual for the Media"
The manual is a guide for media and non-media led capacity building programme for the media. It details training format and content suitable for all cadres of the media - reporters, line editors and media managers. This manual was developed as part of a media mobilization on AIDS project implemented by JAAIDS with support from the National Action Committee on AIDS (NACA.)

Situation Report on New HIV Prevention Technologies in Nigeria
How prepared is Nigeria for the global advent of new HIV prevention options? How mobilized and informed are government agencies, civil society groups and the research community for participation in development efforts for HIV vaccines and microbicides? This landmark report by the Nigeria HIV Vaccine and Microbicide Advocacy Group (NHVMAG) x-rays the state of research and development on new HIV prevention technology in Nigeria. It examines current realities of the epidemic in Nigeria and the relevance of new prevention option-such as HIV vaccine and microbicides in halting the spread of the epidemic.

Setting the stage for New HIV Prevention Technologies in Nigeria
This publication is a report of the deliberations and conclusions from a National Advocates Meeting on new HIV prevention technologies in Nigeria, organised by the Nigeria HIV Vaccine and Microbicide Advocacy Group (NHVMAG). The meeting held in Abuja in May 2004, with support of the Global Campaign for Microbicides (GCM).
