The statement said "it is imperative to teach, educate and warn our youth on the danger of AIDS through the language they can understand easily, and we have discovered that the language is music."
According to the organizers, the concert have been designed to attract African youths into gatherings where music will be used to pass messages across to them on the need to avoid all acts that can get them infected with the dreaded disease which has been identified as a threat to human existence.
Besides the youths including students of secondary and tertiary institutions, top government functionaries are also expected to witness the flag-off of the AIDS campaign concert in Lagos.
