Welcome to the Nigeria-AIDS eForum!

The Nigeria-AIDS eForum ('eForum') is the online, email-based news and discussion network on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria established since January 2000.

It is Nigeria's HIV/AIDS village square, a free-entry, free-exit arena and market place for sharing perspectives, mobilizing action, generating awareness and exchanging ideas for strengthening the common response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa's most populous country.

The eForum has been described as 'an outstanding example of innovative use of new technologies' in addressing development issues. In September 2000, it emerged the winning entry of the Highway Africa Award for Innovative Use of New Media in Africa, instituted by South Africa's Rhodes University in conjunction with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC).

It has also been acknowledged by Nigeria's National Action Committee on AIDS as a 'best practice' in information networking on HIV/AIDS.
